Description/Job Summary

ATI seeks to hire Building Automation Systems engineers/technicians with work experience and certifications in one or more of the listed systems: Invensys, Tridium Niagara AX, Tridium Niagara R2, Honeywell CARE, Honeywell Symmetry, Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Siemens Apogee, Reliable Controls, Alerton Controls, Siemens Talon, Barber Coleman Controls, Siebe, Schneider Electric, Pneumercator fuel monitoring, and Siemens WinPM power monitoring. This position will require frequent overseas travel, with trips typically lasting two to four weeks. Due to contract requirements, US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is also required. This position is location independent (on-site travel and telework) for the right candidate, however, proximity to a major international airport is preferred.

  • Frequent overseas travel to provide preventive maintenance, system upgrades and troubleshooting of multiple types of building automation systems at client sites
  • Generate reports of findings/work performed
  • Take inventory of existing systems and parts, make recommendations for procurement and repairs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Coordinate/liaise with client and multiple on-site contacts

Required Skills

Work experience and manufacturer certifications in one or more of the listed systems: Invensys, Tridium Niagara AX, Tridium Niagara R2, Honeywell CARE, Honeywell Symmetry, Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Siemens Apogee, Reliable Controls, Alerton Controls, Siemens Talon, Barber Coleman Controls, Siebe, Schneider Electric, Pneumercator fuel monitoring, and Siemens WinPM power monitoring. Excellent communication skills, tact and professionalism to deal with multiple client contacts/departments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word and Excel. 
 

Required Experience

A minimum 3 years of work experience is required.

Certifications in one or more of the listed systems: Invensys, Tridium Niagara AX, Tridium Niagara R2, Honeywell CARE, Honeywell Symmetry, Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Siemens Apogee, Reliable Controls, Alerton Controls, Siemens Talon, Barber Coleman Controls, Siebe, Schneider Electric, Pneumercator fuel monitoring, and Siemens WinPM power monitoring. 

Preferred Education

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.

Details

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and/or stand. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will normally be in a climate-controlled office. This position will require frequent overseas travel, with trips typically lasting two to four weeks.
